ED'S VIEWPOINT BEYOND 2000
As we approach the new millenium, we all have concerns about the future. What will happen next? Will the economy be up, or down? Will there be freedom in the eastern block countries? Can we overcome poverty? Will a giant massive object smash into the earth’s ocean, causing massive tidal waves of water, from the sea, to smash into the world’s coastline, causing total destruction and loss of life. Maybe total infestation of a slowing killing virus, which causes human flesh to blister, and limbs falling off, with a really bad smell. Or something even more terrible, like the revival of disco, or a total blackout of power, breakdown of communication system's, no e-mail, tv, radio, or lunchmeat, on Jan. 1, 2000. Well as me now know y2k was a dud, and there is no reason to think beyond 2000 will be any different.
